North Carolina was aching to hold her first
child who would come just 6 days later.
These two children, born only 6 days apart on
different sides of the country, would meet at
college in Washington, fall in love . . .
When we started 5 years ago, we began with unfurnished homes to cater to the need of military and government employees who wanted the convenience of a good home without the headache of selling it when they were transferred away. When we bought our first fourplex, we furnished one of the apartments, like a home for those not interested in buying their own furniture. Soon, word got out and we found we needed more to meet the needs of our growing customer base.
